This is a Stream 2 module and it’s designed for doctors that have already successfully completed the Steam 1 module and hold that accreditation. Stream 2 modules do not have any assessment requirements, they will help you improve your proficiency by updating your skills in applying the AMA4 Guides and/or other prescribed assessment methods.
Successful completion of the Stream 2 module will lead to awarding of one update to accreditation:
- Urological System update
If you have not already successfully completed the Stream 1 module and you want to gain that accreditation, please go back to the homepage and enrol in Urological System (Stream 1).
Module information
This module teaches the approach required from parts of Chapter 11 of the Guides to assess permanent impairment of the urinary system and the male reproductive system.
The module covers:
- The methodology for evaluating upper urinary tract impairment, including loss of kidney and assessment of overall upper urinary tract impairment.
- The methodology to evaluate upper Bladder, Urethra and Urinary Diversions.
- The methodology to evaluate the male reproductive organs including the penis, scrotum, testes, epididymides, prostate and spermatic cords.
- Apportionment of impairment to disentangle what impairment may or may not be related to a compensable event.

*Participants need to have their AMA4 Guide with them when they complete the training.
